名词复数形式

一般情况+s
e.g. shell→shells toy→toys

以s, x, ch, sh结尾+es
e.g. fox→foxes church→churches

以o结尾s或+es
e.g. radio→radios potato→potatoes
20100424-补充：以o结尾的名词，如果不是外来词或缩写，就加‐es，否则加‐s构成复数。 读音变化：加读[z]。
例：tomato→tomatoes; potato→potatoes; torpedo→torpedoes; bingo→bingoes
反例：silo→silos; piano→pianos（外来词）; photo→photos; macro→macros（缩写词）

以f, fe结尾的，变f, fe为ves
e.g. life→lives half→halves

以辅音字母+y结尾, 变y为i+es
e.g. sky→skies study→studies baby→babies country→counties lady→ladies

20100424-补充：除人民币外，美元、英镑、法郎等都有复数形式。
例：a dollar, two dollars; a meter, two meters

20100915-补充：以-th结尾的单词直接加s
例如：path-paths mouth-mouths
注：clothes不是cloth的复数。
