Upset 可以當名詞，也可以當動詞。但它最常用的是形容詞。所以我們今天就來解釋它當形容詞的用法。

會跟它搭配的動詞為：appear, be, feel, look, sound | become, get，例如Don't get upset about it. 或用remain| leave sb, make sb來接，例如The news had made left him deeply frustrated and upset.

從上面例如，可以看到我們還使用了一些副詞，例如deeply。可以用來形容程度的副詞還有很多，常用的有badly, bitterly, desperately, genuinely, greatly, profoundly。

如果要表達「對」什麼事或人感到生氣，可以加的介系詞為：

某事物使某人感到很煩或很生氣，用upset by 事物，有被動語氣的口吻，例如Mary was upset by the death of her cat.
